In fact, about half of the alpacas born are males. Of these, only the very best should be used for breeding while the rest are enjoyed as pets.
 
In our opinion, the tremendous herdsire potential of the male crias presented here is already demonstrated in their conformation, fibre quality and coverage. Only the future will tell if they live up to our great expectations. The fact that their promise as studs cannot be guaranteed allows us to offer them at a significantly lower price compared to a proven sire.
